ANDREW SALZMAN
PRINCIPAL, THE CHASM GROUP

Andrew is a 30+ year marketing veteran focused on helping organizations re-invent business models, identify new growth venues, tap existing market potential, and capitalize on consumer and market purchasing dynamics. Prior to Chasm Group, Andrew served as a CMO at several early stage and mid-sized technology firms including E2open, Saba, and Information Resources, Inc. He also ran corporate marketing at Siebel Systems during its period of meteoric growth, and led global marketing operations at Compaq and Kodak. Andrew began his career in advertising as a regional managing director in the US, Europe, and Asia directing business operations for P&G, Nestle, Sharp, and Mars/Masterfoods. He is a board member of Cross Cultural Communications, and serves on the advisory boards of Target Data, OnRequest Images, and Naviscribe. Andrew holds a B.A. degree from the University of California, Berkeley.


JACK THEIMER
PRESIDENT, THE THEIMER GROUP

Jack is president of The Theimer Group and chief executive officer of HPJ Media Ventures. During his career, he has acquired, developed, and marketed successful initiatives in real estate, venture projects, and community service. His real estate projects include developments in Montecito, Calif.; Vail and Beaver Creek, Colo.; and Charleston, SC. As CEO of HPJ Media, Jack expanded operations to include several magazine properties in major ski areas, and made investments in online products including JackRabbit Systems and QuickPlay Media. His community involvement includes roles as co-chairman of California State Preservation Conference, director of Santa Barbara Community Environmental Council, trustee of Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, chairman/co-founder of Good Night Foundation, founding member of Clinton Global Initiative, and presidential appointee to the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial Commission. Jack earned his BA and JD degrees from the University of Oklahoma, and is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association.


JEFFREY MOSS
CHIEF OF ENTERPRISE GROWTH, EDUCATIONAL TESTING SERVICES

Jeffrey specializes in business innovation through partnerships, strategic acquisitions and new product development. At ETS, he is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing new growth opportunities. Prior to ETS, he was a principal at Sterling Partners, a $4 billion private-equity firm in the education, business services and healthcare industries, and served as CEO of Active Day where he refined sales, marketing, and operations. Previously, Jeffrey worked with Summit Partners where he helped portfolio companies refine operational strategy and evaluate acquisition opportunities. As senior analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, he participated in equity offerings, M&A transactions, debt offerings, private-equity investments and convertible notes offerings, and helped mid-market companies raise $1.5 billion from private and public markets. Jeffrey is Board Chairman for Workstream, and a board member for Urban Students Empowered. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. degree in finance and accounting from Indiana University.


LEIGH SEGALL
VP MARKETING, LEAPFROG ONLINE

Leigh helps organizations of all sizes create and execute targeted marketing strategies designed to grow awareness, expand market share, and drive revenue. At Leapfrog Online, she heads marketing, communications, and brand strategy. Prior to Leapfrog Online, she served at CMO for SAVO, a leading sales enablement technology company, where she led efforts in new client acquisition, customer loyalty, and market and brand awareness growth. Prior to SAVO, Leigh was a marketing and communications strategist for firms including Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter, & Associates, and Dowling Langley & Associates. She also served as Executive Director and chief spokesperson for Youth Venture, a national, not-for-profit organization based in Washington, DC. Leigh has a degree in Political Science from Emory University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with an emphasis on Marketing and Strategy.


MICHAEL FRANKEL
CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT, STRATEGY AND OPERATING EXECUTIVE

Michael specializes in acquisitions, equity and venture investing, business strategy, product development, and international expansion. He most recently served as SVP, Business Development and M&A at LexisNexis Group where he led global corporate development. As SVP Corporate Development and Strategy at IRI, Michael drove acquisitions, equity investments, divestitures, and strategic partnerships. Prior to IRI, Michael served as VP Business Development at GE Capital’s consumer finance group, and as VP Corporate Development and General Manager for Verisign’s Directory Services Group. Michael was an Investment Banking VP with Merrill Lynch and Corporate Associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He serves on the boards of Onvia and HolaDoctor, the FortiusOne advisory board, and the Alumni Board of Governors of the University of Chicago. Michael has authored three books and several articles on M&A, and holds a BA in Political Science, an MA in International Relations, and an MBA and Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago.
